current Cyber2lz favorite in PowerLine adapters is the
Powerline Ethernet Bridge.
networking (PLN) uses existing premise electrical wiring as network
cables, meaning they also carry data signals. It can be a means of
extending an existing network into new places without adding new
wires (Cat5,6,7 cabling).
converter takes an 802.3 signal and "bridges"
it onto the electrical wires of the premise. Complimentary
electrical equipment (these devices work in pairs) takes that
broadcast signal off the premise wiring and feeds it to the attached
client device as an 802.3 (Ethernet) packet stream. These devices can be
any valid Ethernet equipment, including computers, switches,
printers and more.
